A NORTH Yorkshire branch of an international organisation has announced a hunt for young people who have made a selfless contribution to their community or put their own lives aside to help those less fortunate than themselves.
The Soroptimist movement has made 2002 the year to seek someone worthy of The Young Person Serving the Community Award.
Local members are hoping for nominations from the Richmond area and are inviting people to come forward with nominations.
Entry forms are available by calling (01748) 824118, or (01325) 718305.
The forms need to be returned before Wednesday, July 31.
The overall winner will be announced on International Day of Peace on Tuesday, September 18
