A MIDDLESBROUGH hotel held a celebration of learning in the Tees Valley last night.
The Learning and Skills Council staged the event in the Marton Hotel and Country Club, in Stokesley Road.
As well as celebrating education in the Tees Valley, the event also showcased a variety of talent from local learners.
Guests also heard a talk on the importance of regional and local partnerships by Alistair Arkley, chairman of the Tees Valley Partnership, and Dr John Bridge, chairman of One NorthEast.
Learning and Skills Council Tees Valley also took the opportunity to launch its local strategic plan.
This looked at the projected impact on the area and the need to involve all partners at local, regional and national level.
