WEAR Valley District Council's development control committee will meet today, at 6pm.
The following items are to be discussed at the meeting:
* Councillors are expected to approve outline plans for a residential development at land south of Park Terrace, Howden-le-Wear.
* Council officers have recommended outline planning permission be granted for a residential development at North Bridge Works, Station Road, and surrounding land adjacent to Leazes Lane, West Auckland, by Swift Timber Homes.
* Willington Cricket Club has applied for planning permission to build a single-storey pavilion for leisure activity facilities and a club house.
* An application has been submitted for a showroom extension at Woodbridge Bedroom and Furniture Superstore, Tindale Crescent, Bishop Auckland.
* Planning permission has been sought for a lean-to conservatory and retention of temporary accommodation at Tow Law Nursery and Butterfly Farm.
* Councillors are expected to approve plans for a single-storey rear extension at Barrington Meadows, Bishop Auckland.
* Planning permission is being sought for a domestic garage at Rectory Lane, Wolsingham.
* J P Stephenson and Son has applied for permission to change the use of a games room/store shed, and extension, to provide a farm shop/tea room at Bradley Burn Farm, Wolsingham.
* Plans have been submitted for change of use of premises at Fore Bondgate, Bishop Auckland, from a shop to a caf.
* Councillors are being asked to consider plans for a new home on land adjacent to 5 Close House, Dene Valley.
* EBAC Ltd is seeking planning permission for a covered storage area on the St Helens Trading Estate, St Helen Auckland.
* Councillors are expected to grant permission for the building of 15 homes and associated work on land adjoining 20-21 West End, Hunwick.
