Crook Ladies League: Norma Parkin of Crook Jelly's Bar B became the first player to hear the magic "180" cry when she helped her team to a seven point victory over the visiting Crook Cricket Club.
The top of the table clash proved to be a little one-sided as the leading Crook Queen's Head A only dropped two points at Tow Law New Market B, to end the home side's unbeaten run.
Crook Queen's Head A lead the table by seven points from Crook Jelly's Bar B with third place shared by Tow Law New Market B and Crook Travellers Rest, who are two points adrift of second place.
The leading individual scorers were Evelyn Vitty 140 for the New Market B, Gail Abbott 140 and Dawn Harrison 134 for the Queen's A, Lesley Leighton 138 for the Olde Horse Shoe, Karen Gibson 134 for the Queen's B, June Oswald 132 and Dawn Armstrong 129 for Dan's Castle and Mary Maughan 121 for the New Market A.

Doreen Johnson Memorial
Sixteen teams have shown their support in memory of the popular local darts player, Doreen Johnson. The first week's fixtures are between Tow Law New Market, Bishop Auckland Welcome Inn, Crook Three Blue Bells and Crook Queen's Head A with one team qualifying for Finals Night.
The second Qualifying Night will be on Tuesday, 18 June when the teams are Crook RAFA Club A, Crook Bar 56, Crook RAFA C and Crook Royal Sun. The teams in action on Tuesday, June 25 are Crook RAFA D, Crook Queen's Head B, Crook Coach and Horses and Crook RAFA B. The last Qualifying Night will be on Tuesday, July 2 when the teams in play are Crook Mill House, Crook Jelly's Bar, Crook Queen's Head C and Crook Travellers Rest.
The Final will be played on Tuesday, 9 July. All matches take place at Crook RAFA Club.
Willington League
The Annual Presentation Evening was held in Willington Club, when the founder chairman, Billy Britton returned to present the awards. The Prospect Club won the League Championship Cup, presented to the league in its first season 20 years ago by Billy Britton, with last season's champions, the Victoria Club in second place.
Dave Alderson won the League Singles Championship with Colin Davison taking the runners-up trophy. Micky Irwin and Steve Hutchinson won the League Pairs Championship for the second consecutive time, whilst Norman Bolam and Colin Pratt took the runners-up awards.
Micky Irwin, Steve Liddle, Arthur Goldsborough, Alan Lee and Steve Hutchinson won the Four Man Team Cup with Aynsley Rainbow, Harold Farrer, John Davies, Dave Hawkins and Donald Young taking the runners-up awards.
Jason Bone took the trophy for the finish in the fewest darts when he checked out in thirteen. John Mason won the highest check-out trophy with a 160 finish and Colin Davison took the trophy for the most maximums with five.
Other players to receive mementoes for hitting 180 during the season were Trevor Bourne, Lyndon Taylor, John Davies, Geoff Maddison, Ian Mavin, Ian Breen, Alan lee and Michael Pickering
