STAR pupils from a Teesside dance school are putting on a farewell dinner dance spectacular before they leave to join stage schools.
Students from the Amanda Meglynn Academy of Stage and School have been accepted at premier stage schools including the National Youth Musical Theatre Company, the Sylvia Theatre School in London, and the Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts, also in London.
Five students achieved teaching certificates with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing.
Some of the students are now due to perform in the Middlesbrough company's Starlight Spectacular at the Tall Trees Hotel in Yarm tomorrow.
A dinner dance with cabaret and pyrotechnics, the night will feature raffle prizes including a plate signed by former England football manager Kevin Keegan, a Middlesbrough FC shirt and a portable mini-disc player.
Tickets cost £24 for adults and £8 for children under 16 and are available by phoning (01642) 314901.
