BUDDING bowlers are being given the chance to take part in a coaching scheme.
Seaham Town Council, east Durham, is promoting the venture, which is open to beginners and practising bowlers.
The sessions are at the town park on weekdays between 10am and noon, and equipment will be provided for newcomers. There will also be an advanced course for outdoor bowlers looking to improve their skills.
The course is open to anyone from the Seaham and surrounding areas and everyone attending is promised a warm welcome from coaches Arthur Lanes and Stan Anderson.
Prospective junior players will also be offered coaching sessions, between 10am and noon on Saturdays during school term time.
Although the coaching is free, there will be small nominal fee for the use of facilities.
Anyone interested should turn up at the allotted times or telephone Seaham council on 0191-581 2943
