THE Tees Valley Partnership is moving to recruit key people who will help deliver its vision for the regeneration of the area and oversee its £50m programme for the next three years.
The partnership, which includes representatives of all sectors of the community, has recently had its three-year delivery plan. This includes a wide range of projects aimed at creating new businesses and jobs, improving learning opportunities and attracting millions more funding into the area - agreed by the Regional Development Agency One NorthEast.
Now, it is seeking to appoint three "outstanding individuals" who can manage the implementation of its programme in partnership with many different organisations.
Neil Etherington, partnership joint chief executive, said: "One NorthEast have recognised that, if we are to deliver an economic renaissance for the region as a whole, and for the Tees Valley in particular, it makes sense to allow local people to make the decisions on how best that can be achieved."
The partnership is seeking applications for the post of partnership manager, together with a single programme co-ordinator and a single programme administrator.
