ANTI-NUCLEAR campaigners were on the march over the weekend in protest at the US National Missile Defence System proposals.
Members of Yorkshire CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) went on a ten-mile walk, ending with a party on the North York Moors, near the RAF Fylingdales early warning base, on Saturday.
Protestors from the Fylingdales Action Network joined the march and took part in a demonstration at the US-run base, which could be a central part of the controversial £20bn Son of Star Wars project.
