A Number of events are to take place in Stockton as part of a celebration of International Refugee Week, which runs from today until Sunday.
In particular, there will be a host of activities taking place from Friday until Sunday.
On Friday, organisers will be setting up a huge stage in Stockton Parish Church area, where there will be an international flavour. Local schools perform along with community groups and musicians.
Stalls too, will reflect an ethnic flavour where there will be information and activities from a wide range of statutory and voluntary organisations.
A selection of food will also be served from the church hall.
On Saturday, the International Family Centre, in Dovecot Street, Stockton, will be extending its weekly drop-in service between 10.30am to 4pm, and there will be a children's party between 2pm and 4pm.
On Sunday, there will be a family fun day at Kirkleatham Hall, Redcar, for families with children aged under four
