A HARD-UP student sold his soul for just £11 in an internet auction to help pay off debts.
Graham Malham, 26, of Newcastle, posted an advert on the eBay auction site and the bizarre auction closed when a man from Oklahoma, in the US, offered him £11.61.
Mr Malham said: "The guy said he had lost his soul in a game of air hockey and would put mine to good use.
"I also got an e-mail from a Christian fundamentalist who said he would hate to see the Devil get hold of my soul - but he never put in a bid.
"My aim now is to sell off various bits of me and then become a plc and float on the Stock Exchange.
