A RECRUITMENT drive has been launched in a bid to boost attendances at a youngsters' nature club.
Countryside wardens at Hartlepool Borough Council would like to hear from youngsters aged eight to 12, who would like to join the Dragonflys nature club.
The club meets once a week usually at Summerhill, in Catcote Road, but also at other locations depending upon the activities planned.
It offers youngsters a chance to learn about countryside issues while having fun. Membership is free although there may be a small charge to cover the cost of some activities.
Countryside warden Gina Balzi said: "At the moment we have 21 members on our books, but only about seven turn up regularly. Anyone who is interested should contact us on (01429) 853325.
