TWO cyclists will be hoping for fine weather when they stage amid-summer barbecue with a Mexican flavour in Sedgefield.
The event is part of a fundraising effort by local GP Peter Jones and Sport England official Geoff Hughes.
The pair must each raise at least £2,500 to take part in a 500-mile cycle ride across Mexico in aid of the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust. They are currently halfway towards their target.
The barbecue will be held in the grounds of Ceddesfeld Hall, Sedgefield on Saturday June 29 from 6-30pm.
