A REWARD of £1,000 has been offered following a burglary at the Nestle factory, in York.
Gardening equipment worth thousands of pounds was taken when thieves broke into a compound in Haxby Road.
The main item in the haul was a Dennis FT510 mower worth £4,500 with the engine number 422669 and frame number 201475. Also stolen was a strimmer worth £550 and a Honda rotary mower valued at £1,200.
The contractors are offering a reward of £1,000 for the return of the equipment and the prosecution of the thieves, who struck between June 6 and 7.
