Willington Club took the League Championship trophies when they hosted the league's Annual Presentation Evening.
The Prospect Club, who came with a good late run, took the runners-up awards.
Billy Wragg of Sunnybrow Brown Trout won the League Singles Championship with Arthur Burnham of Willington Cottles in the runners-up spot. The Pairs Championship was won by Derek Brazier and John Hodgson with Ronnie Greensmith and Norman Bolam in the runners-up spot.
Tow Law Area League
Newhouse Club visited Esh Stag's Head in the first match of the new season and were beaten when the home side came back from the brink of defeat to win by the odd point by taking all three doubles points. The Stag's only took singles points through Dave Metcalfe and Mattie Walker, whilst the visitors went to the edge of victory with wins from Michael Barron, Bill Jones, Dave Jones and Eric Roland.
Sunniside Comedian also came through in the deciding doubles when they entertained Tow Law Rose and Crown. The singles were shared with Bob Peacock, Chris Ridley and Joan Peacock winning for the Comedian, whilst Alvina Gwynnette, Chris Hammond and Joan Corrigan replied. The first two doubles were shared but then Ray Johnson and Dave Ferguson took the deciding doubles.

The top four teams all had good wins where they each only dropped one point to leave Hamilton Row Black Horse, Tow Law Rose and Crown and Tow Law New Market B all sharing the top spot, with Lanchester King's Head four points adrift but with a match in hand.
Hamilton Row Black Horse took the first four points through Barry Sims, Dave Bateson, Alan Taylor and Pat Elliott before the visiting Esh Football Club saved the whitewash when Ronnie Wilkinson beat John Christelow in the final game.
Tow Law Rose and Crown only dropped one point away to the ladies team from Tow Law Dan's Castle B, who had Emma Jefferson as their only winner. The visitors had wins from Lee Mowbray, Steven Todd, Chris Bowes and Gavin Hammell.
