Tow Law Bass League
Tom Hauxwell made a great debut for his new team when he hit 160, including a double, in his first three darts for Tow Law New Market B in their match at Tow Law Dan's Castle. He won his singles, doubles and trebles to help his team to their three points win. Cattle Mart created a shock in the first week when they moved across the road to beat last season's runners up from Tow Law New Market A by the odd point. Dave Dixon, Gary Parker and John Parkin won singles whilst Colin Boughey, Joe Jordan and Alan Breen replied. The trebles were shared but the Mart took two of the three doubles for the win.
The leading individual scorers were L. Sanders and W. Anderson 140 each for the Earl Derby, K. Starr 140 for McKennas B. Gray 140 and J. Parkin two 140's for the New Market A, R. Shaw 140 for the Royal Oak and R. Wright with 140 and the best check out of the week with 111 for the Comedian.

Crook Ladies League
Crook Queen's Head A moved 11 points ahead of their nearest rivals after they whitewashed the visiting Crook Olde Horse Shoe. Crook Jelly's Bar B are in second place, two points ahead of Crook Travellers Rest, who have a one point advantage over Tow Law New Market B.
The leading individual scorers were Jacqueline Hope 148 and Marie Kenny 140 for the Station, Linda Robinson 140 for the Royal George, Jacqueline Baker 140 for the New Market B, Ann Varley 133 and 128 and Dorothy Storey 132 for the Travellers Rest, Mary Maughan 131 and 121 for the New Market A and Judith Graham 121 for Willington Commercial.

Ifirst qualifying night of this years competition Crook Queen's Head A moved through to the Finals Night with a whitewash victory over Tow Law New Market. However the score was not a fair reflection of the game for the New Market were first to get to the finishing double but just failed to hit it.
In the earlier games Crook Queen's Head A beat Crook Three Blue Bells 3-1 whilst the match of the night saw Tow Law New Market beat Bishop Auckland Welcome Inn when Evelynn Vitty beat Brenda Smith in the decider.
The teams in action on Tuesday, 25 June are Crook RAFA D, Crook Queen's Head B, Crook Coach and Horses and Crook RAFA B.
