POLICE are closely monitoring the condition of 91-year-old woman who suffered scalding while being washed.
Detectives have already questioned two female care workers, aged 41 and 53, who have been suspended from their work at Mendip House, in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, since the incident.
Yesterday, the pensioner, was in a stable condition at Durham City's University Hospital of North Durham.
The two workers are due to answer police bail early next month in connection with the incident on June 14
