A COMMUNITY group is celebrating a year of helping people in two areas of Darlington.
Cockerton and Branksome Living Enterprise Council (Cable) was set up last June, thanks to European Regional Development Fund support.
It provides a variety of services to people living in the area and its newest project is aimed at the youngest residents.
An anti-bullying project, set up with National Lottery funding, is set to tackle poor school attendance and behavioural difficulties.
A helpline, manned by volunteers, will offer support and advice to people affected by bullying.
Cable is also running a football festival next month, bringing together youngsters from across the North-East in an under-tens tournament
