ALL the glory of the garden is providing the creative inspiration for an unusual exhibition of artwork.
Glassmaker Mark Gillies and artist Kate Jones have combined their skills to produce a stunning display of sculptures at the five-acre Helmsley Walled Garden, in North Yorkshire.
The complex blown-glass pieces are on show until July 30 at the newly-restored site, which is set against the backdrop of Helmsley Castle, in the grounds of Duncombe Park.
Mr Gillies said: "The exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to create objects for a particular and special environment.
"This garden gives us endless creative inspiration for work in different environments, both in the garden and new orchid house."
Originally built to supply the Duncombe estate with fruit and vegetables, the garden was abandoned in the 1970s until a major restoration programme was launched eight years ago
