Cockton Hill won the top two battle of the First Division against the visiting Langley Park in a remarkable match where the teams finished with 57 shots each but the Hill won by two rinks to one. Despite this close win Cockton Hill lost their sole claim to top spot for Spennymoor A jumped two points above Langley Park to share the leadership.

Leeholme jumped up to second place in the Second Division after whitewashing the visiting Shildon Railway A. The home side won by 73 shots to 43.

Chilton lead the Second Division by six points with Wolsingham two points adrift of Leeholme.
The run-a-way leaders of the Third Division, Shildon Town lost their first match when they only took two points out of the visiting Cockton Hill B. The visitors' won by 60 shots to 54.
