THE North Yorkshire County Show takes place tomorrow with a host of traditional events.
Although livestock classes have had to be cancelled because of foot-and-mouth regulations, organisers say there are plenty of other attractions.
The show takes place in the grounds of Otterington Hall, near Northallerton.
Organiser Alison Dale said: "We have had to take a slightly different stance because of the restrictions on cattle and sheep. But there is still going to be plenty for people to see."
The show will include traditional competitive events, such as classes for agricultural horses, light horses, show jumping and poultry, a farrier competition and classes for crafts, horticulture, junior entrants and the WI.
Youngsters will also have the chance to meet characters from hit US cartoon show the Simpsons, at 10.45am.
The Blue Cross is running a dog show and owners are invited to bring their hounds to compete. Vehicles from ITV show Heartbeat will be lined up next to vintage machinery and classic cars.
Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for children or pensioners. Under fives go free. Parking is free.
