A NEW music group specialising in the Baroque period will make its debut in Durham next month.
The Kepier Consort will perform Trio Sonatas, by the 18th century German composers Telemann and CPE Bach, in a concert at Elvet Methodist Church, on July 6.
Violinist Shelley Stokes, recorder player Mary Tyers, viola player Andrew Fowler, and harpsichordist Gill Blazey will also perform, along with the Durham Singers.
The programme's centrepiece will be a setting of the Requiem Mass by the 20th Century Italian composer Ildebrando Pizzetti.
It begins at 7.30pm, and tickets, priced at £7 and £5, are available at the door, or from Durham Tourist Information Centre on 0191-384 3720
