AN arts centre has stepped back in time to present an exhibition reflecting the 1950s.
The display at the Discovery Centre, at Seaton Holme, Easington Village, east Durham, is open until June 23. Organised to co-incide with the Queen's Golden Jubilee, it features a 1950s room complete with a tin bath in front of the kitchen fire.
Memories will be stirred by the washing on the clothes horse and a Bakelite radio playing in the front room.
Admission is free to the special display, which will be open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Fridays, and from 11am to 4pm on weekends.
