A QUARTET of short dramas by four of the region's top writers take the stage at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on Thursday.
The Cloud Nine Theatre Company, which showcases the talents of Northern writers, will be performing the plays in the Eden Theatre, from 8pm.
Steve Chambers' Pain in the Arse comes with a nudity warning, while Julia Darling's September 10 revisits the day before the attack on the World Trade Centre in the US. Linda France has written I am Frieda Kahlo, about a young Wallsend girl who takes on the persona of a tragic Mexican painter. And Oranges and Lemons, by David Farn, has a hero with high hopes for his Whitley Bay citrus restaurant.
