THOUSANDS of people attended a cycle show in memory of Knaresborough man Ron Kitching at the weekend.
The Knavesmire, in York, hosted a two-day Rally Cycle Show, which challenged 150 riders to take on either a 100km or a 150km route on the Saturday.
Meanwhile, grass-track racing and an auction were held at the same venue, while York cycle paramedic Mark Inman demonstrated his skills, carrying his equipment around a course before unpacking it and packing it again within a set time.

Mr Kitching, who died of cancer recently, was one of the founders of the rally.
