Film-maker Marion Coutts will return to Newcastle's Hancock Museum for the first UK screening of her latest work, No Evil Star, next month.
It was produced during a residency at the Hancock, making reference to the museum's displays of extinct or endangered species. Shot in wide-screen inside a specially-built diorama, it suggests an artist's impression of a prehistoric scene. A public preview will take place on Thursday, July 18, from 6pm to 8pm, and entrance is free. It will be followed by an exhibition of the film from July 19 to August 4.
