A FROZEN food firm has scooped its fourth consecutive title at a national award ceremony.
Richmond Frozen Confectionery, of North Yorkshire, has been presented with the prize for the best retail product by the British Frozen Food Federation.
"To win the category again is a remarkable achievement,'' said director general of the federation, Alf Carr.
Richmond, based at Leeming Bar, took the award for the best new ice cream as well as the bronze in the same category for a different product. The firm also took gold and silver in the category for the best new children's product.
Marketing director Kate Needham said: "I am delighted that, once again, our products have received such a strong endorsement from the consumer.
"It is very gratifying to beat 140 other entries for the top prize for the fourth consecutive year and it is recognition of the focus we maintain on delivering high quality."
