A NORTH-EAST park will be reverberating to the sound of more than 400 engines this weekend as an annual vehicle rally gets into gear.
More than 400 vehicle exhibitors, 40 trade stands, a fun fair and other attractions are expected to draw large crowds to Preston Park, in Stockton, Teesside.
A big selection of vintage vehicles and gleaming fire engines will be vying for attention, with the likes of Dingle Fingle, who will be tearing around the park in his Hod-Rotter, providing comic thrills for the crowd.
James Dylan's Stunt World will also be there to impress the audience with his death-defying stunts.
Derek Batchelor, Stockton Borough Council's events officer, said: "We have a lot of exhibitors from the region, while others will be coming from further afield, including Glasgow, Colwyn Bay, Shropshire, Lancashire, Cheshire and Yorkshire - making this a truly national event.
"This is a great opportunity to take advantage of free entry into Preston Hall Museum, and car parking is free too."
