TWO pupils from overseas are spending a month in Darlington as part of an international scholarship.
Manisha Bomjan, from Kathmandu, in Nepal, and Annie Sophocleous, from Cyprus, are staying at Polam Hall School, in Grange Road, for a month.
The girls were chosen for the trip after taking part in a series of competitions and demonstrating what they would gain from spending time in the town.
The scholarships are organised by the Independent Schools Council and the British Council, who are placing 100 pupils from 24 countries in boarding schools across the UK this year.
