AN out-of-school club has been launched by William Hague, MP for Richmond.
The club at Croft Church of England Primary School, near Darlington, was built with grants from the Community Fund and National Opportunities Fund.
It will be used by pupils after school and during the holidays while their parents are at work.
The club includes computers, a television and video record, art equipment and toys.
During his visit, Mr Hague judged an art competition and presented first prize to Chloe Carlton, Eddie Pollicott, Nick Barnard and David Wise, who created a papier mache plane.
