Tthe community of Toft Hill and Etherley is holding a carnival on Saturday, to mark the Queen's golden jubilee.
The event starts with a procession through the village at noon, led by carnival queen Chloe Tait, attendant Louise Wren and prince consort Jamie Slack.
A host of free events will be held on the quarry field and refreshments served on the field and in the community centre hall.
Fancy dress and decorated floats will be judged from 1pm to 1.45pm.
At 3pm there will be a tug- of-war competition and children's sports, followed by an adult welly-throwing contest.
