TWO German shepherd dogs are in need of a new home.
Rusty and Sheba are being cared for at kennels on behalf of the RSPCA after their elderly owner became too ill to care for them.
Sheba, the livelier of the two, is believed to be about four. Rusty, aged about seven, needs more attention.
RSPCA Inspector Gavin Butterfield said: "Rusty is still in need of veterinary treatment which will be paid for by the RSPCA. They are both lovely animals and would make great pets.''
It would be nice for both dogs to be housed together, but anyone who could give either animal a good home is asked to contact Margaret on 07970 600631.
