THE all-conquering girls of Sunnydale School in Shildon have lifted another trophy - their third in less than 12 months.
They took on teams from neighbouring comprehensive schools in the Sunderland AFC in the Community South West Durham Cup competition at Bishop Auckland Technical College and emerged triumphant.
They went through their group matches in the seven-a-side tournament for Under-13s without conceding a goal. A Lauren McDonnell hat-trick helped the team see off Willington Parkside in the semis. She scored in the final against Ferryhill as Sunnydale ran out 2-0 victors.
