A NIGHTCLUB boss has been charged with possessing cocaine and CS spray following a police raid on his home.
Officers swooped on the home of Keith Gibbon, 59, of Montagu Avenue, Gosforth, Newcastle, in March.
The businessman, who is a partner in Lazi Leisure, was charged when he answered his bail on Wednesday.
Lazi Leisure's enterprises include the nightclub Julies2, on Newcastle's Quayside, Idols fun bars, Pravda caf-bars, CubaCuba and Annabel's, in Sunderland.
Mr Gibbon is due to appear before Newcastle magistrates today.
