Tow Law Bass League

The reigning champions, Newhouse Club recovered from a poor start to the season and were able to move up to third place in the table after they only dropped one point to the visiting Tow Law Station. George Hope took the only singles point for the visitors.

Esh McKenna's held on to second place when they beat the visiting Tow Law Dan's Castle for the loss of only one point, won by Angela Suddes in the singles. This kept McKennas one ahead of Newhouse Club and one behind the leaders, Hamilton Row Black Horse, who won by five points at Tow Law New Market B.

Darren Yeoman of Tow Law New Market A hit two 180's in a 15 darts finish. The other leading scorers were Colin A Boughey 180 for the Cattle Mart, Angela Suddes 142 for Dan's Castle, Billy Wilson two 140's for the Moss, Raymond Wright 140 for the Comedian, Les Sanders and Wayne Anderson 140 each for the Earl Derby and Tom Marsh 140 for the Stag's Head.

Crook Queen's Head A extended their lead at the top pf the table after they only dropped three points on their visit to Billy Row Royal George. Crook Jelly's Bar B stayed two points ahead of the joint third placed, Crook Travellers Rest and Tow Law New Market B.
