REDEVELOPMENT of the Moors Centre at Danby is high on the list of priorities of the North York Moors National Park.
It is hoped to develop the centre to attract more visitors and, with this in mind, a site meeting is to be held next month at which members and other interested bodies can put forward their ideas on how it should be developed.
Coun Herbert Tindall, from Danby, said he would like to see the nearby train station re-open to bring in visitors.
A survey some years ago suggested it would cost in the region of £750,000 to create a halt on the Esk Valley line.
