NORTH-East Lottery players are being urged to check their tickets after it emerged that a jackpot of £711,607 had not been claimed.
The winning ticket was bought in the Sunderland area almost a month ago. It bears all six numbers drawn in the Saturday, June 1, Lotto game - 13, 19, 27, 36, 41 and 44, but the winner must claim the prize by November 28.
Camelot regional centre manager Alan Drummond, said: "Players in the North-East are known for being vigilant when it comes to claiming Lotto winnings, so it's very surprising that there is an unclaimed jackpot.
"We're keeping our fingers crossed that the winner comes forward."
