GUISBOROUGH managers Neil Dainton, 35, and 33-year-old Antony Myrrdin-Baker have found out what it is like to be in the firing line.
Organisers of a Territorial Army promotional event at Catterick made life hot for Mr Dainton, who is manager of Boots the Chemist in the town and Mr Myrrdin-Baker, an underground electrical engineer at Cleveland Potash.
Along with others, the pair tackled an assault course and escaped under fire through the ruins and sewers of a mock village during exercise Executive Stretch, held at Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, which was organised to show managers and employers what the TA has to offer.
Sarah Berry, manager from Boots, Stockton, and a team from the Expanded Metal Company from Hartlepool were among the best contenders overall.
