WORKS by some of the region's most celebrated painters will be on sale during a one-off exhibition next weekend.
Tom and Rosamund Jordan, of TB and R Jordan Fine Paintings, based in Eaglescliffe, near Stockton, will be displaying and selling works by members of the Staithes Group and Newcastle's Bewick Club, both of which flourished during the 19th Century.
Some of the most notable members of both groups were the artists John Atkinson, Ralph Hedley, Isa Jobling, Robert Jobling and James Watson.
Paintings that will be on sale at the exhibition include Haymaking on the North York Moors, by John Atkinson, Runswick Bay, by James Watson and Chatting in the Barrass, by Ralph Hedley.
Mrs Jordan said: "Through 28 years of handling their work, we have developed very clear views about the relative merits of individual examples and are very careful to select only what we consider to be good examples in fine condition.
"At present, we have 17 examples of work by artists who were members of both the Staithes Group and the Bewick Group, with each one of them represented at the exhibition."
The exhibition will be held at the Grinkle Park Hotel, at Easington, east Cleveland, on Sunday, between 11am and 5pm.
