A Richmond veterinary practice is celebrating confirmation that it has passed an inspection by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA).
The Swale Veterinary Surgery, Gallowfields Industrial Estate, becomes one of more than 5,000 represented by the BSAVA around the UK, all of whom have won official recognition for high standards of care.
CONCERT DATE: The Carol Andrew Singers mixed voice choir, of Darlington, will perform a concert at St Mary's Church, Thornton Watlass, near Bedale, on Saturday. SWING WING: Pickering Castle will host musicians from the RAF for an evening of toe-tapping big band entertainment next month. ART DISPLAY: Work by students from schools across Harrogate goes on display at the town's West Park United Reformed Church today. The exhibition forms part of the celebrations to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee. Doors will be open daily between 10am and 4pm until Sunday.
GARDEN DRAMA: An open-air performance of Shakespeare's As You Like It is planned in Harrogate this evening. Theatre Set-Up will have dried out sufficiently after a damp show at Richmond Castle on Sunday to entertain the crowds at Harlow Carr Gardens from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £8.50. WELL VERSED: The Playhouse, Pateley Bridge, hosts an evening of poetry as part of the Nidderdale Festival tonight. STRINGS CONCERT: The Northern Aldborough Festival welcomes the Belcea String Quartet this evening.
