MEMBERS of a teenage drama group are representing the UK at a theatre presentation in Italy.
Eight students from the Bishop Auckland Theatre Hooligans (Bath) flew to Salerno on Monday to take part in a week of theatre work on the theme of human rights.
Mark Ross, Jonathan Millward, Daniel Burns, Matthew Saunders, Emma Norbury, Daniel Wales, Steven Brownson and Amii Belton will work with students from Italy and Finland at the event. In preparation for the visit they collated information on the history of human rights in County Durham, particularly focusing on the miners.
It is not the first time members of Bath, which is based at King James I Community College, Bishop Auckland, have performed abroad. They have appeared in Norway twice.
