A Darlington company is offering local businesses in the town a recruitment service to help them find the right people for the right jobs.
The Morrison Trust Job Brokering Service has a large database of people with a range of skills and qualifications, who are actively seeking work.
The service offers free advice and guidance on disability issues, information about any financial help that may be available and ongoing support from job brokers for both the employer and employee.
The job brokering service is one of a number of employment projects run by Wm Morrison Enterprise Trust in the Darlington area.
Denis Coogans, of the Morton Park Business Training Centre, which is supporting the service, said it was already helping people to find the right jobs.
He said: "One lady, Caroline Evans, registered with the service when she decided to return to work after a six-year break.
"Caroline's skills and experience were just what the trust was looking for to deliver the Firthmoor Into Work project.
"Caroline joins the team as an employment link worker assisting people into work.
