MORE than 200 children plan to bring traffic to a halt in Skelton on Friday when they parade through town on their way to a mini Commonwealth Games.
The youngsters, from six east Cleveland primary schools, will take part in a day of basketball, volleyball, cricket, tennis and athletics at Freebrough Community College.
The Spirit of Friendship Festival has been organised by students who are working towards a national award.
Carolyn Priestley, the event co-ordinator, said: "We're really looking forward to Friday - it should be a terrific day.
"The organisers are all 15-year-olds who have been planning this event since February.
