LOGO COMPETITON: Members of the Ingleby Barwick Residents' Association were delighted to receive so many entries for their logo competition.
The winning designs were by Jessica Stevenson, of Ingleby Mill Primary School, and Eloise Lombard, of St Therese of Lisieux Primary School. They were presented with their prizes at Safeway by Gary Dinsdale, managing director of the Welcome vending company, of Stockton, which donated the prizes.
WORK AND PLAY: Ingleby Barwick Parish Council has agreed to fund an extension to the playground on the play area near to Safeway together with some small pieces of play equipment, a new gate and a teen shelter. These are now on order and it is hoped that work will be under way early in September.
GARDEN JUDGING: Members of Ingleby Barwick Parish Council have thanked all entrants in the garden competition for their support. The judging will take place on July 14 and prizes will be presented at a later date. Peter Barratt has donated vouchers for the winners.
