Crook Mill House moved two points clear at the top of the First Division after they restricted their hosts and Crook Coach and Horses A to a single point, scored when John Race won a singles game.
The Mill's success came from singles wins by Norman Slack, Ian Bibby, Eddie Ryan, Stephen Heyes and Ron Bannister to add to a doubles win by Norman Slack and Ian Bibby. Crook Olde Horse Shoe B are in second place, one point ahead of Crook Belle Vue.
Willington Market emphasised their lead in the Second Division when they only dropped one point to the visiting Crook Coach and Horses B, who had Andrew Reynolds as their only winner. The Market's singles winners were Ian Moore, John Blackett, Gary Trow, Micky Toward and Stuart Shillan with Tony Atkinson and Micky Toward adding the doubles.
