LOW cost airline Go has announced an increase in the number of daily flights it will operate from Newcastle Airport to London Stansted from October.
Go will fly four times a day on weekdays and three times a day at weekends to Stansted, from just £19 one-way. From Stansted, passengers can catch the Stansted Express train into London.
Go began operating from Newcastle six months ago and 150,000 passengers have travelled on the North-East to London service.
Chris Sanders, business development director at Newcastle Airport, said: "Go has again demonstrated its commitment to the North-East by offering an extra flight per day. This allows more passengers the chance to book the seat of their choice at the price they want.
"The increased frequency means flying to London becomes even more convenient for the people of the North-East."
