FUNDING is helping to crack down on crooks in an area of Hartlepool.
Door and window alarms are being fitted in 350 homes occupied by older people in the Owton Manor area.
It is a joint project between Hartlepool Crime Prevention panel and Hartlepool Borough Council, and has been made possible thanks to a £2,500 grant from the Tackling Crime Together Project, which is funded by the Owton Rossmere Single Regeneration Budget Partnership.
