Esh Stag's Head moved one point clear at the top of the table after they beat the visiting Cornsay Royal Oak by five points.
The home side took the first four points through B. March, D. Metcalfe, T. March and R. Brown but then the Oak took the last two singles through C. Close and J. Close. The Stag's romped to victory by taking all three doubles points.
Tow Law New Market B moved up a point behind the Stag's Head after they beat their A team by three points. The B team had singles wins from Tom Dowson, Margaret Goodwin, Gavin Tennant and Stephen Umpelby, whilst the A team responded with wins from Bobby Gray and John Parkin. However the B team increased their lead by taking two of the three doubles.
The Stag's Head lead the New Market B by one point with Sunniside Comedian a further point adrift but all three teams are still unbeaten to date.
