THOUSANDS of visitors are expected to flock to Redcar Rugby Club tomorrow for the Corus Teesside gala.
The event, now in its 26th year, will feature an aerobatic stunt plane show, a riverside gymnastics display team, and a float procession created by local primary school children.
Winners of the steel company's 2002 Search for a Star competition will be given the chance to perform to the crowds.
Chris Pyne, 13, and 15-year-old Zoe Gappy will sing in the main arena, where the day's events will be hosted by radio presenter Paul Gough.
Organiser Craig Evans said: "The gala is a regular community get-together, not only for Corus employees but for people from all over the North-East.
"Last year, we entertained 20,000 people and we expect another big turnout tomorrow."
The gala takes place between 10.30am and 5pm at the rugby club, in Green Lane. Entry is £3 for adults and £1 for children and senior citizens.
