A COLLEGE lecturer is to have her photographic work published in a book.
Pat Maycroft, who teaches photography at Darlington College of Technology, has taken 30 photographs for her book, Northern Grit.
They are accompanied by poems by Vane Women, a Darlington women's writing group, and published by Vane Women Press, for the Durham Literary Festival.
Jo Colley, a former lecturer at the college, is publishing her book, As If, for the festival.
Ms Maycroft and fellow members of the Vane Women will perform readings from both books in the Garden Bar at Darlington Arts Centre, from 7.30pm on Wednesday.
Ms Maycroft's photographs range from her home fell of Cockfield in County Durham, to Middlesbrough, where she was born.
