TWO of the biggest rock bands in the world during the 1980s and 1990s will share the bill at a concert in the region.
Blondie and INXS will perform at the Telewest Arena, Newcastle, on Monday, December 9.
It will be the first time Australian rockers INXS have performed in the region since the death of original lead singer Michael Hutchence, in November 1997.
Since then, they have performed only rarely with guest singers, but have now settled on Jon Stevens, former frontman of Noiseworks, one of Australia's top rock bands, to fill the role.
Tickets for the Newcastle date cost £27.50. They are available from Monday, by calling 0870 7078000.
